Calling a transmission a tranny. Sounds sissy. Calling a shotgun a shotty. Sounds sissy. Calling firearm stock furniture. Calling fishing rod a sword. Is this millennial stuff?

I don't think it's Millenial stuff. But yeah tranny is a word for a cross dresser. Not auto parts. I'm not all that concerned about "Shotty" although it does seem kinda lazy and ignorant.
My beef is when guys refer to their vehicles as she or her. That's pretty stupid to me. I mean if you have a muscle car or a big 4WD truck and you refer to it as "Her" it just seems like you cutting the balls off of your pride and joy.

I was trying to find a meaning for the term. The pipe a hose attaches to is what I would think of when I hear that term.
Unless you got a nonflexible hose extension, like for washing 2nd floor windows?

When I lived in Banks County years ago the locals called a water hose a hose pipe. They called a window a "wender
light".
