Work/ranch boot recs?

All of my favorite boots had NO LINERS. The liners on most of the boots I end up with in modern times (last 30 years) always a nylon / polyester/ synthetic material that make my feet sweat. I can't find leather unlined boots anymore.

This. Synthetics will let you down every time. There are plenty of leather-lined leather boots to be had but not nearly as many unlined leather boots. The Kommando Store Waxi boot is the first unlined leather boot I can think of off the top of my head, but they're rarely stocked and usually sell out very quickly.

Think most red wings are able to be re soled so thats a plus

The local Redwing store will only ship your boots for resoleing. I declined.

I would really think twice about a boot from Brunt for longterm wear if I were in your position. I have heard some really awful things about their QC, build quality, and materials...

I wear the Hi Chore Classic. You can fold them down in half and make them mid boots..... I have been looking at these ..Chore Cool Mid Muck Boot

Speed hooks are a good thing. Watch this:

I've tried everything from the boaz ratchet system, to speed hooks, to side zip boots, to elastic laces. Nothing beats cowboy boots i can kick on and off.
