I hope it is good.

Some of the scenes look cool, but from what I can tell, it bears 0 resemblance to the book.

They could have made a great movie out of just what happened to the pilot in the book. Or the submarine captain. Or several others.

I don't really know where the stuff from those scenes could have come from.......
