Wish you were looking 2 years ago as I had my Romanian WASR (Cuigir Factory) listed for $700. I had it listed with two Krebbs replacement parts for function and durability, 6 mags, side scope mount, 180 rounds of RAS, the original wood parts, and accessories that came with it. It's currently in an ATI Strikeforce folding stock configuration. I've added some more bling since then.

Now is the winter of our collective discontent. Gun prices, especially battle style rifles, are up, but not by too much. That said, a basic WASR with 1-2 mags is probably at least 800. If you bump your price a little, you'll find what you want. Should be easy for under a grand.

Well, you should be seeking ammunition and magazines as they become available. And maybe a decent WASR will show up, several are listed in the bottom link.

Not just here. Go anywhere and you will see he is late to the cheap AK party. It is also not often you hear WASR and quality and in the same sentence

Not so. Plenty of local dealers with decent inventory at normal pre-covid prices... Don't let ODT pricing fool you into believing that this is indicative of the market at large. haha
