Finally got my modeling room set up. We been remodeling our house since March. Still have a few minor things to do but I hope to be back on the bench soon.

Been over a year since I posted anything in the thread. Total home remodel and various family related things have kept me busy. I did manage to build a few things that haven’t made it to the paint booth though. Currently have been building this 13th century Crusader knight. I thought it was resin when I bought it but it turned out to be metal. My first all metal kit so I trying to be a little more patient with it. I find I’m more motivated to finish things when I post in progress pics. Ready for priming and painting.

My current model building is a 1/3 scale (144” wingspan) Piper Cub. It is getting close to painting status.

Finally got some primer on the knight. Been finishing up the build on this little antitank gun in the meantime.

I was very into modeling as a kid, particularly the WWII stuff, (ships/planes/tanks) but I especially loved the big 1/32 scale plane models from Revell. But, I haven't built anything in decades, but when I stumbled across this complete NIB Patton tank at my favorite local thrift store earlier this year, I had to grab it, just for old-times' sake !!
