Yellow jacket underground nest elimination tactics

I found one yesterday while bush hogging. They did exit the underground nest but thankfully they only swarmed a couple of feet from the opening and did not chase me down. I’d like to get rid of those angry mob pests. What methods have you used that truely works?

Just make sure to find both holes and you can pour a little gas and they will be no more.

I have used gas before as mentioned by others, but I have also had luck with boiling hot water. But also as others have stated find both holes you can block the one and pour through the other. But I have found it best to wait until dark so you know 99.9% are in the hole

Yep. Do it after dark. The pest will all be in the nest. Then put a rock over it to block the hole up. Done
