Yellow jacket underground nest elimination tactics

My suggestions....

1 Recon during the day.
2 Attack them at night...only at night.
3 Wear plenty of thick black/charcoal clothing. No open skin.
4 Be very careful about using a flashlight, they can see you & sting you!!
5 I use the foaming wasp/YJ killer spray or 1 gallon pump sprayer filled with strong insect killer.
6 Have a shovel with dirt ready to cover the entrance after spraying into the hole.
7 Once you attack, complete the attack and then quickly retreat.
8 Recheck it during the day, to see if there are any stragglers.
9 Treat again a few days later if needed. If done well, it won't be needed.

Watch out as those little jokers really hurt. Plus enough stings at one time, can overwhelm your immune system.

I found one yesterday while bush hogging. They did exit the underground nest but thankfully they only swarmed a couple of feet from the opening and did not chase me down. I’d like to get rid of those angry mob pests. What methods have you used that truely works?
It’s simple wait till dark ( I always mark hole so easy find after dark take small amount gas in bottle pour in hole if u can stick mouth bottle hole a lot dead jackets if check next day.
