I'm real surprised that no one has opted for the .577 Tyrannosaur from A-square. If it won't kill a T-Rex, nothing will(And it would be false advertisement).

They have found that the 577 is less effective than you'd think. The large caliber reduces penetration. They have even found this with sharp upward angled brain shots on elephant with the 500 N.E. Sometimes the bullet doesn't get to the brain and the hunter is f'd.

Heavy smaller diameter higher velocity bullets would be the key. That's why I chose the 460 Weatherby.
