Your Four Legged Friend....let's see 'em!

Those pad cuts are the worst especially on a very active dog.
The original owners of our house dumped all their metal and glass trash in the woods behind the house sine they didn’t have trash pick up back then.
After we bought it I spent days pulling it all from the ground.
So hard to get it all when it’s broken and half buried.
Well my dog found one one day and gashed his front pad wide open with blood tracked in everywhere.
Vet advised not to stitch it but just use anti biotic ointment and clean/ change the dressing 2-3x a day as needed.
Took a good 2 weeks before he was back in action …. Sucked.
Ya I was thinking it would be ok as it was just a small gash but kept bleeding, then after a couple days it opened up bigger. Took her to the vet and they put 3 staples in it. Took em out last week but they said no walking on concrete or blacktop for 2 weeks. She’s doing good now.

We took Lola for a drive up to Estes Park today and while we were there we stopped at Nicky's Steak House for what is the best Prime Rib we have had since we moved to Colorado. She sat in a chair at the table with us and was so well behaved that they said she always had a table waiting whenever we came back.
