I see that all the time. Never quite get it though. My shaky achy brakey Norinco cuts clover leaves, my cimarron is tight like Ft. Knox and does just as well. You ever shake a Wilson Combat, ...........not a sound, you shake the lower end ones and they rattle
Not the 1911 mags. That’s because Mecgar make the original mags for many manufacturers

Yes, there are some they don't make..the point is that they are an OEM manufacturer, not that they make ALL OEM mags. Also, they don't fit the narrative of this thread. Not the 1911 mags.
Sig uses Check Mate as an OEM magazine
I’m sure many manufactures make different ones for different models. But I know that 226,229,239 are made by mecgar. Not the 1911 mags.

Suck it up and buy a quality belt.Point is, many things are about “bling” or Bragging Rights”
WC, and Kimber are just bling. I won’t buy a Kimber unless it’s dirt cheap and I could trade it for something I want. WC make decent stuff, but I’m not interested in their complete guns.
And I’ll say it... LOL I love a 1911, but I always feel that I’m under gunned carrying one, and they make my pants sag...
en with my little Star PD.
Hint: spare mags.
and, have any of the Kimber haters ever actually owned one?
I almost agree. But fit and finish a little better on the others...and generally better cs.Dan Wesson is just as good as Wilson Combat, Nighthawk and Ed Brown for half the cost. i said what i said.
