I think a lot of it has to do with a brand building trust with you as an individual. I got Sigs, a BCM, Ruger, Steyr, etc... I also have several Caniks and and a few Taurus. I have literally shot untold rounds through both and neither have ever let me down so I’ve grown to trust them. Same with my Rex Zero 1. I’d love to own a Nighthawk. I work hard for my money and if I ever buy a Nighthawk or similar gun, at the cost am I gonna feel comfortable using it as often as my other guns? Probably not.

Their mags are just as good as the OEM's out there and cheaper. Price up an OEM Sig mag and a comparable mecgar mag.

They make many OEM mags, and their price is right in line with factory mags. The thread is about Gucci brands that aren't as good, or the same quality as lower priced counterparts. Mecgar doesn't fit that description.
