    Ahhh - I think I get it. If it drops 40” at 500 yards, then it’s 40 / (3.6*5) = 2.2222, or 2.2 mils? If the scope has .1 mil adjustments, and the turret was at zero (and assuming higher number is increased elevation), then I’d turn it to 22 times to 2.2?

    Ok - That makes sense. I shoot a 7mag. I’ve only hunted in Georgia, and my gun loves the Federal Power Shok 150-grain. My three shot group after it was sighted in was under a dime at 200 yards. The gun is an old Remington 700 (early 80s model) with a 26” barrel.

    agreed. Liabilities don’t bother me too much with contracts and releases of liability. I am already a lessor with some tracts. They pay property taxes and that’s about it. I would like to reinvent the leasing arrangements because not everyone wants to join a club and do work.
