Yeah that was literally thousands of rounds. After every brick is usually plenty. Breaking the can loose after you get done shooting at a minimum goes a long way.
long story short I could get my suppressor apart a while back. I said screw it and continued using it. I primarily use it on a cz bolt action with accuracy in mind. I started having some inconsistencies and quickly decided it was because of the junk filled can. After a week of soaking in kroil...
That I've done a couple times shooting across fields without a suppressor and it is fun lol. Ive let several walk after they watched their buddy fall over dead but it seems like it's the younger ones that hang around not knowing better. I could see the challenge and I'm sure I'll try it at some...
I don't see the reason to use subs over full power loads unless you're hunting somewhere you aren't supposed to be lol. Not saying the right bullet and shot placement won't get the job done. I like the long shots anyway so they wouldn't do me much good. Haven't seen a deer take a step after...
The Barnes 110's work great and the nosler 125 ballistic tips work good too. Still haven't shot anything bigger than a tree rat with the subs and not sure I will try them on deer.
Great metering video from the guys on The Military Arms Channel. .308, .22, 9mm, .45, and .30 cal cans on 5.56 still to come.
And the cliff notes version if you don't wanna watch 15 minutes of a guy shooting beside a meter.
FVSR is a great gun for the money. I don't have any complaints about the mags. I bought mine as a trainer. Swapped out the stock for the Boyd's which was a big improvement. Then bought a manners stock for it that cost about double what the rifle did initially but worth it for my use.
I love my 30P-1 and didn't think it could get much better.....then they make it stronger, lighter, and quieter. I'm gonna need more income.
The square hole on that gemtech can is interesting.
Its personal preference between the two. I don't shoot benchrest but I do shoot precision long range and love my two stage huber when shooting from awkward/unstable positions. The same applies for single stage triggers for pulling the gun off target with the trigger pull either way. I'm not...
