  1. Suppresser recommendations for AR-15/ 5.56

I have the silencerco saker. Suppresses well and built like a tank. I use it on 10.5 up to 18. It’s the only dedicated 5.56 I have owned so I have nothing to compare it to. Biggest complaint is it gets stuck sometimes and I need to hit with a rubber mallet to get it to twist off/detach...
  2. Illegal illegal and that is illegal..

The Supreme Court didn’t help with the bump stock. They blew off two opportunities to change that ATF ruling. What makes you think they will do any different with the brace? The Supreme Court does not have the same definition of “shall not be infringed” that you and most people here on ODT have.
  3. Process for making my own suppressor

If I make my own suppressor w/ a form 1, do I need to set up and register with a trust 1st or get the non essential parts engraved 1st with all the necessary information? I’m confused about the process. Thanks for any info.
  4. Once a gun or receiver is registered, can you sell without NFA/ATF transfer?

As title says. Just curious because a seller in classified says his gun has a stamp but he can sell directly to whoever without NFA/atf process if he removes the vertical grip. Is that correct...

  6. F the ATF efile website

So, Is form 1 efile what I would use for adding a stripped lower to build an sbr? I already have a trust with other NFA items. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. ODT NFA tracker thread

CG&P called me on 11/11/14 to let me know stamp arrived. Picked it up on 11/12/14. *Very Happy*
  8. Eforms Update***

It's technically a tax. So I assume it is just more revenue collected by the USA that goes in the big pot. But I don't know this for sure. There are probably a few millionaires and billionaires who pay more than 16 million in taxes each.
  9. Eforms Update***

For you and me, yes. But 16 million for a fed gov agency ain't much at all.
  10. lower for SBR -- does it have to be engraved with the caliber?

Cherokee gun and pawn filled out my first form. It was a nice courtesy and a surprise when it arrived. But I certainly would not pay for the service.
  11. lower for SBR -- does it have to be engraved with the caliber?

Thanks all. I can't believe people would pay money to have someone fill out a form. Some people have too much money on their hands I guess. Lol
  12. lower for SBR -- does it have to be engraved with the caliber?

Does a stripped lower have to be engraved with the caliber, or can it say multi? I am getting ready to form 1 a stripped lower that I plan to use with 5.56 uppers and do not want the ATF to reject...
  13. ODT NFA tracker thread

Form: 4 (trust) Weapon type: Silencerco Saker 556 Mail date: 13 JUN 14 certified signature date: ?? received: ??
  14. Trust

My wife and I are both attorneys so we did our own. But to be perfectly honest, I don't believe you need to be an attorney to make your own NFA trust. The standard Brown's trust pinned at the top of the page is ridiculously easy to complete. There is even software out there that will spit out...
  15. 7.5 vs 10.5 Upper

    Thx!
  16. 7.5 vs 10.5 Upper

Sounds good. Higher grain than 55 or 62 I assume? Maybe something in the 70s?
  17. 7.5 vs 10.5 Upper

Inside my house as a home defense gun with a saker silencer.
  18. 7.5 vs 10.5 Upper

Will 10.5 result in the proper velocity and performance?
