    I would buy a replacement lower, put it on the gun you want to sell and keep the registered receiver in case you change your mind in the future and decide you want an SBR.

    Martins Firearms is a good shop and has a lot of quality stuff. The latest titanium rifle suppressors are incredible. They feel too light to be real.

    They are not all fully compatible between the same caliber either. I have heard of issues with compatibility between brands.

    I would soak it I kroil or similar solvent for a few days first. Then in a solvent like acetone and see if will break loose. I looked at a sparrow but was concerned that the sleeve would be hard to remove if fired much.

    The screenshot from the sure fire web page listed 300 WM rating. That is much stronger than is required for 300BO and 223. Funny they do not list barrel length, every other manufacturer I know lists the rating as a pair of caliber and barrel length. Forget about firing a 30 caliber down a 223...

    They don’t check my papers but I am not rebel enough to carry around the state an illegal SBR. If your a rebel go ahead and post a video of you shooting a 12 inch barreled SBR that does not have papers.

    I would suggest waiting. The recent ATF letter read that they would be waiving the $200 stamp fee and expediting the process.

    I called for status on one in the past. The timing seemed like they were looking on a computer screen that had all submitted applications. They would quickly tell me the status and I heard no paper shuffling. I guess they could have mistakenly entered the serial number into the tracking...

    I was wrong. There is a process. After submitting all details of the loss or theft of the form 1 or form 4 for individuals to the director of the ATF. He/she MAY issue a replacement form. if the dog ate it you probably out of luck. If your house burns, I would hope they have some sympathy.
