Yeah, this is the first time I have looked at mine and a number of years myself. I would like to sit with them, get them all organized, and all that good stuff. However, with 4 kids and working all the time I doubt I get to do that anytime soon.
I was going to my baseball cards, and came across this Cal Ripken rookie card. It's priced on eBay right now for around $1000. But I will never find somebody to pay that much for it!!! Lol
Any other baseball card collectors out there??
I also like zippo and lucky strike lighters. Pretty cheap and easy to store. I still have my baseball cards from the late 80's, but do not actively collect them anymore.
Yea. My back is in bad shape, but my knees are really bad off. Had my ACL replaced and MCL repaired. Cartilage was also torn in two places. Happened back in my youth, but feeling it big time now. Going for a run is 100% out of the question.
Decided I am going to shed some weight by riding a bike around with my kids in the neighborhood. Problem is I do not know anything about them. I am 6'6" and just north of 300 lbs. I will only ride on streets, and will not be serious riding. What I mean is I am not looking to win a gold...
I collected from 1987 to around 1990. As I got into high school, I got out of it. Baseball only, but do have some football cards from the 70's my mom collected. They are all just sitting in my closet now.
I bought a corn cob pipe a few months ago with a cherry tobacco while in Gatlinberg. To be honest, just wanted to give it a chance to see if I liked it or not. Really did. On the latest trip back to Gatlinburg, my wife packed for us and she forgot to pack the pipe. Not a big deal, I can make it...
Space is going to be a factor for me also. I know how this will end though, 2 car garage cleaned out, cars parked in the driveway, and everything in a storage space!
