My wife digs our first CSA relic!!!

Great find. I'd love to go out like that, but my wife would last 15 mins and give up. Finding old home sites and the like is fascinating.
Hey man, thanks for checking the video out!
That's one of the reasons I love detecting, it takes me places I'd never end up without the hobby.
Nothing like putting in a bunch of research and walking 3 miles back in the woods and finding a well or chimney ruins.

Good for ya'll . My uncle started the Georgia Relic Hunters Society and associated magazine and has a museum of civil war stuff at his house. I can only imagine the thrill of finding a real artifact.

A guy I work with lives in Kennesaw. He said a popular thing is to watch for new construction and get permission to go in as they start moving dirt, that around 6 feet is where there is a lot of stuff. He saw some guys with detectors coming a cut for a new subdivision and went and asked them what they were doing. That's their method.

I've heard of this method. I live more in the sticks, just north of Kennesaw. I love finding relics but I'm a little to introverted for city detecting. Just about all my hobbies take me in the opposite direction of people haha.
But I would do it for a good spot in Kennesaw for sure.
Thanks for watching man!
