    This was up close and personal. Finally found this old pic. Wife and I were driving to work one night and found a big old 8 pointer real closeup. He jumped out in front of me and I hit him once, he went up in the air and came down and wrapped around the fender. That was a 1988 Caprice, built...

    They are almost tame here at our house. That doe in the pic brought her two fawns with her most of the time. Had a few bucks around but they don't come close to the house.

    We had a great horned owl in our back yard trees several years ago. He was on the ground and watched him turn his head almost all the way around. Big sucker. When he took off looked like 5 foot wingspan. Used to hear him around, but have not lately.
