Did not get pics but there were two very young twin fawns came across our back yard yesterday. Mama was nearby. Too far for my security cameras to pick up. First ones this year.
Awesome for overcoming and adapting.
A lot of men would be sitting at home feeling sorry for themselves.
You have a fine son also. A good reason to set a good example.
This was up close and personal.
Finally found this old pic. Wife and I were driving to work one night and found a big old 8 pointer real closeup. He jumped out in front of me and I hit him once, he went up in the air and came down and wrapped around the fender. That was a 1988 Caprice, built...
They are almost tame here at our house. That doe in the pic brought her two fawns with her most of the time. Had a few bucks around but they don't come close to the house.
We had a great horned owl in our back yard trees several years ago. He was on the ground and watched him turn his head almost all the way around. Big sucker. When he took off looked like 5 foot wingspan. Used to hear him around, but have not lately.
Whether you take a deer or not, he will always remember and treasure the time spent with you.
For some reason that pic reminds me of the song, "All I Want for Christmas is My Two Front Teeth."
Keep getting pics of these guys and more but just will not show up in the daytime. DJD.
About 100 yards behind our house. Son put out corn and a mineral block.
