  1. Recommendations on Finding Good Load for .338 Edge?

Shawn Carlock at Defensive Edge in Idaho is the daddy of this one, here's his page with a load on it: https://defensiveedge.net/338-edge/
  2. common powder for use in .338LM and .308Win. ?

Varget, 8208 XBR and H4895 for 308. Kf you're doing a common load do the workup primarily in the gas guns. Retumbo, H1000 or RL33 for the .338 Lapua
  3. Primers going up...up...up

They are usually done that way. I've tested it with two different email accounts and signed up a week apart. Sometimes I'll get a notification on the first and the other never gets a heads up.
  4. Primers going up...up...up

So are you playing the game of multiple people in the house and doing a bunch of individual orders or did they have multiple types?
  5. Small Rifle Primers in 9mm?

The only potential issue is if you went to lighter springs/firing components for a trigger job, you MAY have some ignition issues. As with anything, test and verify first. However, dimensionally SRP and SPP are externally identical. Large rifle and large pistol are not, as the cup is deeper on...
  6. Subsonic expanding bullet for .458 SOCOM and .300BO

    Well it is 2020...
  7. Subsonic expanding bullet for .458 SOCOM and .300BO

The Hornady 190gr Sub-X works for the .300 BO, not sure on the other.
  8. .223/5.56 Projectiles

5.56 NATO is the cartridge designation (5.56x45mm), which is different than .223 Remington spec chambers/ammo.
  9. 6MM BR loads

What projectiles? Your slow twist tells me you will be pretty exclusive to light projectiles. All my stuff is for 105-110gr projectiles, but my barrel twist is a 1:7.5. There's a great resource online and you should read up on stuff at: https://www.6mmbr.com/6mmbr.html
  10. Best source for big jugs (of powder)

Cheaper pricing, especially when paying shipping and hazmat. As long as your powder doesn't get wet or have extreme temperature shifts in storage, it's quite stable and will last a long time.
  11. Best source for big jugs (of powder)

I've been playing with WC846. Working pretty well for 223 stuff so far, both light and heavy bullets.
  12. 308 powder and/or load data

Varget is a good choice as is IMR 8208 XBR. Both are very temperature stable.
  13. Need help getting out of the reloading "pit of misery"

Sub MOA to a grand. Shoot it, only way youll know. If it shoots why worry? Ive jumped some 308s stupid far in factory guns and they shoot just fine.
  14. Need help getting out of the reloading "pit of misery"

Load to magazine OAL (or just shy) and do development from there. It's what my friend did with his 22 Grendel and it's what I'll do once I get my barrel in. There can be quite a bit of jump in the auto-loaders, but you'd be suprised what non VLD bullets can do with the jump. The 75gr ELD has...
  15. Trimming question

If it's under max OAL you should be good. Unless you've got a very tight chamber, you shouldn"t see too much variation due to length if youve got decent dies or are running a mandrel to help control neck tension.
  16. Name that projectile

Agreed on 165gr GameKings. Great for deer and hogs.
  17. .223 load question

8208 XBR is a great all around powder for what you seek.
  18. Where to get H4350 near east of Atlanta?

Good luck. Try Sporting Arms in Winterville.
  19. Multi-use Pistol Powder Recomendations?

Universal and Titegroup have both filled the multi-cartridge role for me.
