I've know Kevin (sleeve of tattoos) for over 10 years. He is a Marine and a good guy. As for the rest of the crew, you gt me there. I'm 99% sure it's owned by Austrians, maybe that explains the neo-comments? (Just kidding)
I've always thought the RTF frame was to abrasive for my delicate mits, but the sights/base plate/color is neat. The same setup on a Gen4 would have worked for me. I do agree that it will have zero problems selling as is.
I had a 290 for a little bit. It suffered from a 80% failure to fire virus, but that 20% was smooth and enjoyable (for the size).
Thanks for posting about the 2022, very informative! I've got a mk25 and m11a1, but have been on the fence about their poly cousin. I'm thinking one of these in...
I finally got to shoot an all "ZEV'd out" G19 today, and was very impressed. This particular one had about 1k worth of custom services (mill work and what not), but the trigger was what got me. It had their full fulcrum trigger package (better have for that money), striker, FP safety, and all...
I agree with Big H on finding ammo. .300 is pretty awesome (especially from a 9" barrel) but it fails the Walmart test. Ok, ok, everything fails the Walmart test now, but I group it with .338, 6.8, and 5.7. All great rounds, but buy every bit of ammo when you find it!
His first ar lowers didn't work too well, but now he has made drastic changes to support the pressure. I'm sure once people get ahold of the file (or he continues his r&d) you'll see this become more and more impressive. As for now, why wouldn't you be impressed with a .22 short you can print...
That is the most DEVGRU Jon boat I've ever seen. F'n sweet! I've never had the lluevos to rattle can a new gun, my boss however took his M82 out of the box an immediately sprayed it!
Did I read correctly? Is the LCR for sale? I saw where someone suggested it get looked at by a gunsmith (seeing how it discharges via cylinder release) but never where you said you were having it checked. Surley you aren't passing this "death machine" off to someone else to deal with...
What I can say (that actually has some truth) is the 30s is a 1/4 or 1/2 oz lighter than the 30, so not much. Shooting it shows no significant difference between the 2. I can't shoot it any better than the 30, and it doesn't feel much better on your hip.
Hey there ladies and gents! I had a question regarding a 1961 colt .38 special mid-range that I came across. I basically want to know a general opinion on what the gun might be worth. I've got the original box and all the papers, original grips, original sales receipt, and a wooden carry box...
