This has been my experience. As was explained to me, no transfer of ownership is occurring, therefore they sent a box and label. It’s been a while, but I think the same logic applies. Each manufacturer may have different policies???

I had read about an issue or possible issue with the p320 if it was slammed at a certain angle it would discharge. I have never seen a case where somebody was either putting the firearm in a holster or pulling it out of a holster and the gun went off by itself. Sounds like this guy shot himself...
