    I talked to a buddy of mine at Academy, he is saying the distributors are preparing to take back the firearms stock from Gander and redistribute to other vendors. Academy for one is adding more higher end firearms that are coming from former Gander stores.

    Thanks all, we are hitting the range tomorrow at Govenors Gun Club, I'll post a video of the wife putting the new weapons thru their paces. She is scary focused when shooting. For the record, the gas tube roll pin is a PITA! I had to break out a file to taper the dang thing to ever get it started.

    i found a Adams Arms Piston AR-15 for 699.00. Gas piston instead of gas impingement. Upper and lower fit are pretty tight and the finish looks good. Anyone have any experience with them? Thoughts? Thanks

    So in the end, didn't go with the Taurus. I went the jewelry route. Then the wife decided to troll ODT and polity told me no 44... she agreed shiny is good, but then pointed out the Benelli M4 she wanted instead. Can't fault her for good taste :)
