    Thanks for the input guys Jglenn…that’s definitely over my skill set and time allowance but sounds really cool. 300whisper…I think that rifle looks fantastic! I can’t really see the barrel nut in the pictures.

    If they were designed to be double stacked. If you have a plain Jane 1911 look how skinny the magazine well is…double stack isnt going in there without a lot of lube and force and determination

    I did this for a long time. Then I started practicing with a scope mounted as low as possible and found I like it much more. Different strokes for different folks
