    So the serial number on the frame indicates it’s a 1944 production within the Remington Rand production range. Slide is marked Remington Rand. Behind the firing capture plate there is a letter “G” stamped. Barrel has two markings, “HS” and something other I can’t make out on the other side...
  4. Any 03a3 experts??

    I have a Remington 03a3 made 4/43. I believe it has a filed replacement stock on it currently as seen in the second photo as #12. My question for you knowledgeable folks is what’s the correct stock for this rifle? It am older CMP Rifle from my understanding.

    It’s not dated anywhere. Defiance Flag company is in business. I didn’t a bunch of looking in the Internet for any information at all. Kinda tough to date them. Only thing different is the grommets.
