One of the old imports sold by Roses and others. The import mark may be very light at the muzzle. The older imports had a very small 2 line import mark. Counterbored ? receiver date? $3-350 or so.
Because it requires conversion to closed bolt. You can not built it as cheaply as you can buy one. I have never seen one that was not boringly reliable in either caliber.
Look inside the receiver and see if there is not another plugged hole forward of the opening. There is not scope serial number. Not sure what to think of that. Every one I have seen with plugs has a scope serial number.
