Hello again, I figured I owed everyone an update. I went for the optic, it pairs perfectly with the Sig! Thank you for everyone's input! I haven't shot it yet but can't wait to put some rounds through it. Also, I'd like to give a shoutout to @ZUL8R for providing a like new Holoson at a great...
so how do you all feel about the Holosun 407K X2? Man, these Trijicon prices are insane! They better be as good as everyone says for that kind of money!
I think I've been convinced enough to at least try it. I went ahead and ordered the 365X off Bud's. Couldn't find one locally that had the manual safety so I went that route. I did, however, purchase the gun alone and not the Romeo package. I'll go ahead and get a holosun or trijicon separately...
I've gotten a ton of great information guys, thanks! I think what I'll do is just go ahead and get the 365 package with the Romeo, it's only about a hundred bucks more, and then probably just go ahead and get a Holosun anyways. I'll see how I feel about the Romeo after putting some rounds...
I was just thinking to myself earlier if a red dot on a revolver would be a practical option and said to myself "nahh, it can't be done" 😅 sweet set up!
Seems like everyone is strongly in favor of the optic, I guess I'm doing it then. I'll take your word for it and just get the 365x by itself and shop for the optic separately.
I like the price on the pistol/red dot package, what's bad about the romeo? Also, how do you feel about carrying one of these with one in the chamber and no manual safety?
Thinking of buying a Sig 365 X. Gravitating towards the one that comes with the Romeo red dot already installed. The extra bulk / weight doesn't matter to me. I've never carried with an optic before, anybody care to persuade or disuade me?
