We used the OT ranging reticule similar to that found in the M3 bino. I think we were issued M17A1 glasses in a rubberized plastic case. These binoculars are fairly easy to use if you know the size of the object you are referencing with the reticle and can be found in the $100 - $150 price...
That was my opinion too. I figured there was something to them because the man who's rifle/optic I looked at is a really good competitor and I respect his opinion.
I looked at one of these on a club member's rifle yesterday. He has it rigged on a CZ for NRL22 matches.
My only complaint is that the eye box or eye relief is extremely small.
And for the shills, the Arken cannot, under any realistic circumstances ever be compared to a NF.
A smidge heavy maybe at 1 lb. 14 oz. but this is what a lot of "base class" NRL-22 shooters are using now.

Depending upon your planned use, select a competition that closely resembles the situation you're planning for and ask the folks who shoot that discipline.
Asking a cop? Might as well as the counter jockey at Bass Pro or Cabelas. All three sources will be equally valid.
After 50+ years of shooting and competition and 12 running a gun range I thought I'd seen just about every Billy-Bob, ****ed up, Elmer Fudd, goofball, tacticool Tommy thing there was to see. I know I can still see something new.
Never used one. Less than useless based on the number of scopes I've had to remount and re-sight when someone used one at the "gun counter" to get their scope mounted and zeroed.
