    Going to watch "The Longest Day" and take a few Garands, Carbines and 1911s to the range. Maybe watch Band of Brothers episode Day of Days. My Dad went from aircraft mechanic to infantryman at D+13. He was wounded by a mortar in Belgium. God bless these brave men.
