I think that's why the skiers are out there on Wednesday, so they can churn the water so the turds flow on to Allatoona. Lake was closed about 25 years ago, but I wouldn't get in there for anything. -

Stupid fishing mistakes
Guy was meeting us to go trout fishing and showed up with a can of creamed corn. I asked him how he would put that on a hook. -

Used to put in at the same spot decades ago. One cove on the right towards the dam was usually full of brim. Saw a huge pickeral caught down there also. -

Still raining and very windy. Boat ramp has been busy all week. The lake has smelled fishy lately, don't know if it's good or bad. Next week they start charging $10 to park on the weekends during summer. -

Biggest catfish I've ever seen caught was in the pool below the little fall. That was many decades ago though. Everyone that was fishing dropped what they were doing to go look at it. -

Yesterday was extremely windy out here. Not windy at the house here, but it may be different down at the lake. Going to walk the dog, so I will know shortly.
