I am going to put the Kayak in and see how it goes. I know about magic point, Docks, Grasses, Dam, etc...just want to get a decent size one today. I may rig up the old Carolina Jig today and use some live bait as well ( Night crawlers) The only fish I have caught in there are Bluegill and Perch.

I have caught some MONSTERS out of there. You wont catch alot of fish but ones you do catch will be good sized. Go straight across the lake from boat ramp, pass the Little beach area back into that cove. There is a small bridge at back of cove. Go underneath the bridge and there is a nice sized honey hole back there. I have caught some BIG boys back there. Try out a Red Shad Texas rigged worm back there and your carolina rig out in deeper water.

Be patient and fish SLOW. Water is cooler now and they will be much more lethargic on the bite.

...had good luck by bouncing a chartruse and white gel worm off the bank, then pulse-reeling it towards the middle. Hits usually happened about 2' off the bank
