I just wonder what kinda mechanical malfunction that could possibly cause with this modification, so I decided to ask from professionals on their opinions.
Probably nothing, it will be just like m2 carbine mag. Once you pull out the mag, the slide will slide back. It’s simply for making sure the mag is empty during Self defense scenario.
I know this might sound little pointless but I’m thinking about designing a custom mag follower on colt 1908 to add slide stop after last round, Something like m1/m2 carbine mags. How do you guys think about it? Does it sound like mechanically possible?
I got two options now, either i wait until colt custom shop reveals DLC black coating or sell it and wait until they offer blued one. I decided not to trust and risk with individual gunsmith and stick with colt shop so that if they mess something up they can just send me brand new one 😃.
