04 Dec. hunt

Can't believe no one has posted a thread about today's hunt. Was I the only son of a gun to lay outta work and get in the stand? Nothing much to report in Oglethorpe county unfortunately. Saw a basket rack buck at 1st light and 5 does afterward.
They didn't hang around long enough for me to even raise the rifle. Back out this afternoon.

Gonna give them a rest for about a week and let the woods settle down we been putting a lot of pressure since opening weekend,it seems to help in the past.

Planning on going down for a Saturday morning (and maybe evening) hunt. Working during the week and our small property needs some downtime. Pounded it hard early Nov as I took a week off work. Would love a crack at the big buck both my brother and myself saw for an instant.

Saw two decent does sneak in the food plot right at dark. They were awful skittish but nothing followed them.
