Just got off work and stepped into the woods.

Seen this doe in Crawfordville this mornin. Made me so mad! I've never seen a deer on opening day, ever. Of course I see one when they change the rules up and can only shoot a doe on certain days! :mad: Dang squirrels were EVERYWHERE this mornin!

Glad that you got that monkey off of your back. I was hoping for a repeat of my 2012 season when I killed a big 8 point on opening morning. It didn't happen though

Congrats!

As for me there was a fawn calling out this morning before legal light, but I never saw a thing. And shots in the area were few and far between.
