Went for the first time yesterday, saw 5 deer and 6 longbeards in the morning, and at least 7 deer yesterday evening (they were moving around so much I lost count). I'm in hardwoods and acorns are falling all over. Gonna see what I can see this evening, good luck all!

Two does this morning, but I killed a yote yesterday evening. He was trotting across the power line at about 140 yards away. I wouldn't have had a shot, but he stopped to lift his leg. Last time he marks that spot DRT

The big boy I'm after vanished for a while, but he was back on my trail cam on the 11th, 12th, and 15th. All in the middle of the night. Sure hope the rut makes him careless.

6 does and a spike strolled thru about 5:30. Coyote behind them 15 mins later. He’s gone to his final resting place. Pics to come after dark.
