Congratulations everyone. I only saw a doe this morning
Thanks, hope they are moving that way again in the morning. Best hunt I've had all year. 4 good bucks came by me this morning. The other 3 after I shot him.
My granddaughter Morgan got her first deer this afternoon about 4:45. Nice doe.

Had an awesome evening hunt. Got to hunt with my wife, who is 27wks pregnant, and my dad. We saw two 8pts, a 6pt, two spikes, and 5 does. One of the 8pts was outside the ears and pretty tall, but he was young and will be a hoss next year. A great end to Thanksgiving day! I'm sure I'll get asked so, we're hunting out of an old bread van that we converted into a hunting stand. The van was bought for the 350SBC and TH400 it had in it that went into a '61 Chevy stepside that I had at 16. It sat around in the field and we ended up painting it brown and cutting windows into the side. It's insulated as well lol. It's our redneck Taj Mahal blind.

Oh she is, but she’s kinda like me when it comes to deer hunting, I like to be able to reach out there on them. She’s been home from college all week and hunted every day here on our small place. Seen deer every day but was kinda hesitant about shooting one. I got in the blind with her this afternoon and gave her some pointers on judging which were the more mature does. She got the biggest out of 7 that showed up today.
