Called in a spike with broken off tine and a nice 8 pointer. Both were as close as 20 yards and would have been easy to take the 8 if I still had a slot on my license.

I didn’t see squat this afternoon. My stand also got jacked up from storms, so I gotta reposition and reposition it tomorrow before afternoons hunt. Sat on the ground today...had better days

There was an average size buck in the field when I was leaving for work this morning. They turned the peanuts today so there should be some action in the field this weekend with them feeding at that buffet. Can’t wait, ready to out some meat in the freezer.

It’s a 350 legend. Kinda of a new round made for us Midwest hunters that’s can’t shoot a “belted cartage”. It’s like a smaller version of a 45/70. It’s a PSA lower, can’t remember the lower parts kit and a JMT trigger with a Davidson defense upper. It’s a tack driver out to about 150yds. Shoots 180gr Winchester soft points.
