Although I broke one trying to get the too large roll pin out of the stripped upper. I still don’t have it it. 1/2 the roll pin and the punch is stuck inside. I almost threw it away.

I would NOT use their supplied forward assist roll pin. I'll mic the new ones I ordered and post the difference. I could not get a single one of theirs in an upper. I have a stripped upper with a broke pin jammed and I can't punch it out. I have beat on it and broke a punch.

Try some of this, may help to slick it up. I’ve had great success with it. Available at Home Depot.

The roll pins supplied by combat armory are 2.8 mm the new ones from Jackson Surplus are 2.5mm. %combatarmory.
