I came back from Africa last year and was sick as hell for 5 months. Only got out 3 times last year. I cannot wait. I will be in a tree as much as possible this year. I do all my hunting on Fort Gordon. They have some biggins there.

ive never had an opening day kill.....a day or two after, sure....but never opening day.....ever......
I've got a great early season spot I'm hoping to get one on the first day this year!!
The year before last I had 2 opening day and last year it took till Sunday but I buck tagged out the first weekend. I don't think I will shoot 2 buck's opening weekend again unless they are just massive. It kind of put a damper on the rest of the season letting all the bucks walk. It was still a good year with 6 total.
Newbie question. What is the best compound bow for the money? I never have hunted with a bow and want to get into it. Thanks
