2" JK Jeep lift recommendations/suggestions

My daughter has a 2012 2 door JK and wants about a 2" lift for it. This Jeep is a pavement princess and will not be seeing any off road duty. I don't have a lot of advice for her as my Jeep knowledge ends with the CJ and leaf springs. Are these "leveling kits" worth having? What does a 2" lift do to the steering and driveshaft geometry on these things? Any other issues such as brake lines or other linkage concerns?

At only 2", there was no need to accommodate a change of geometry to the driveline. It was the most complete kit I could find at the time, and after 3 years I'm very happy with it. Not sure about JK's though.
