Did you allow flowers to form before harvesting, or pluck them off as they formed? I wasn’t sure, so I did half, half. Also, how did you prepare them?We grew some last fall. Thought they were pretty good. Definitely not as much zing as I'd hoped

That’s a really good suggestion. I’ve done that with my lemon jalapeños, and it definitely impacts flavorI wonder if you can treat them like hot peppers and stress out the plants by messing with the water schedule to alter "zing" level.
I pulled them all before flowering. I would think they would be like garlic where you want to cut the flower early.
