Speaking of some bug keeps mangling my rosesvery nice!
the deer have found my okra😡
my candy roaster squash plants have exploded, now to find something to keep borers at bay.
I just put up nets/organdy/mesh over my spinach and mustard greens. Is that possible? Maybe that and some neem oilThis is a fantastic thread. And very inspiring. Maybe someone here can help with my cucumber problem. We seem to raise the best crop of cucumber beetles/bores in the entire world. We only have a few raised beds and I used to plant cukes every year and every year they would get decimated right after they started producing. An olg guy I met said I should skip a year and try again, as the larvae would die off in the off year. So, anyway, last year I skipped cucumbers and the beds were repurposed for my wife's cutting garden. I realize I may never get them back, but I would like to try cukes again. Any suggestions ?
