2025 what have you done preparing for deer season

I haven't hunted since my last deployment 21 years ago. I've attempted to go but quickly lost motivation.

Need to prep the deer to shoot back. Maintain your interest.

I finally got out yesterday, cut some limbs and trees and cleared the gate/stands of wasp nests.

Put out 8 more cams filled 8 feeders plowed 2 plots cut 2 more shooting lanes.started at daylight little buddy said he was tired.papa not to far behind him

Plowed 4 fields on Saturday and built a blind today that I'll be putting on the east end of one of my roads. I can see 340 yards down the road. I saw a lot of deer on it last season. Hopefully they grew a little.

sewed 6 shooting lanes with winter rye grass hopefully just something to get them to stop and take a bite or two.

The grandson and I burned and plowed three small fields yesterday.

The only things I needed to do was double check my rifles shot as expected and make sure stands were accessible and safe.

Installed a new GE window AC unit on the wife’s she shed, that just so happens to overlook the creek bottom and my feeder. 👍
