2025 what have you done preparing for deer season

We got 5 food plots planted bwtween yesterday and today, bushhogged trails, hung a stsnd in a new spot, and killed a good sized canebrake today. I saw the joker as I was running about 40 on a straightaway on the 4 wheeler. I locked up the brakes and shot him with my 22 pistol, then chopped its head off. Gonna attempt to make a hat band and gonna use the meat to make some coyote bait for trapping season. Also laid 50 pound of grass seed on our road bed to try to ease the mud when it rains.

Found where everyone around me put their feeders. I will set up to kill deer on the way to said feeders.

Fertilized my food plots and bush hogged the roads this morning. I was pleased with the growth in just one week. I had 4 does waiting in one of them.

My Son and DNL taken care of all the work, he's replacing the stair case on the high house stand i use so I just got to show up. I did buy a new Bow and all the goodies to go with it, Amazon Loves Me. Retiring end of Oct, Will be up in GA on Nov 15. Looking so forward to it
