I have not paid attention to baseball since ' the strike in the 90's & after the big Sosa , Mcguire HR Fun .

I know rules have changed , but does the Nat league have designated hitters now ?

& Concerning last nights game ; I always recall that " A Tie Goes to the Runner " .

I do understand a WS Game 7 being won on an overturned call would be CRAZY but IMO , the slide home by the Blue Jays looked like a " Tie "

Oh Well , I dislike both teams but dislike LA MUCH MORE .

Congratz to them tho .

Thanks for any replies .

Yes, for several years now.

Could be, but it looked to me that the catcher's cleat reestablished contact with the plate an eyelash before the runners foot.
In any event, just like football, the evidence to overturn has to be clear and compelling. It simply wasn't there to overturn.

Don't see how with no Braves.
Didn't watch any at all, but looks like the Dodgers beat the rest of the world to keep the title in the U.S. ?
Braves have been pretty good since the 90s. I don't think any one team should be in the series year after year like the Yankees. Even though LA I think had back to back wins this time. I got to see the games a day or two behind real time on Roku. Channel 5 wasn't coming in. Not surprising
