2025 world series

I know rules have changed , but does the Nat league have designated hitters now ?

Yes, for several years now.

I do understand a WS Game 7 being won on an overturned call would be CRAZY but IMO , the slide home by the Blue Jays looked like a " Tie "

Could be, but it looked to me that the catcher's cleat reestablished contact with the plate an eyelash before the runners foot.
In any event, just like football, the evidence to overturn has to be clear and compelling. It simply wasn't there to overturn.
Agree 100%

MLB isn't what it used to be. For some, that's a good thing. For me, I really miss the strategy of small ball and how lineups were put together. Watching a team full of .240 hitters that either strike out or belt a home run isn't a lot of fun for me. Other than that, it's pretty well impossible to follow without a subscription to MLB tv. I'll eventually try to get back into it.

Got to hand it both teams making it that far. It wasn't cut and dry the whole way. The Blue Jays give Atlanta a hard time. For that reason, I don't care for them. The American League wins most of the time. It was a great series none the less

You're not wrong. All sports are way different

We attended the first World Series game ever played outside of the U.S.
That was also Toronto, 1992. Braves lost that one, too.
Color guard accidentally (?) presented Canada's flag upside down in pre-game ceremony.
