210 gr JHP 44 mags not grouping well

Weapons do have a sweet spot on what ammo works best. It could be powder or the rifling in the barrel doesn't shoot that bullet weight well. There are a host of combos that can affect the outcome. When you have something that shoots well, don't mess with it

After doing some research, the NEF rifle has a twist rate of 1 in 38 whereas 44 mag handguns mostly have a 1 in20 rate. That should mean it likes lighter bullets. I also slugged the barrel and it measures .429. Maybe they need to be faster to do good. The 240 gr bullets o shoot good in the midrange speed and also going fast. I was hoping to find a load for the 210 gr bullets in the 10000-12000 fps range that shoots good but might not be possile. I am about to load up some of the 210' faster and try them. Wallacem inGa
