I have been reading up on 22 cans lately. Never owned or used one.

Have a buddy who swears by the SilencorCo Sparrow. The way it comes apart appears that it could be problematic and it seems cheaply made.

Another fellow I know recommended the Dead Air Mask. A touch pricey for rimfire can, but appears to be solid.

The SOT I have used in the passed recommended the Diligent Defense Road Hunter. Looks decent.

I am only going to get 1 22 can so I want to get it right from the jump.

Any useful 1st hand experience or info would be appreciated. Tha is yall.

Have 2 sparrows & love em for the price ….

Love my sparrow- first round pop can be loud. After that it’s no problem. Also like that it’s full auto rated for 22lr.

you will only get one "for now" 22 suppressed is a gateway drug.....do not get a sealed can,
Being that a 22 shoots dirty, an end user serviceable can is a must for certain. Sparrow keeps popping up with quite a bit of positive fanfare, gotta be a reason for it. I have other cans, just never had or messed with a 22 cal or rimfire can before. Preciate the input yall.

I never do this, but I secured an AB Suppressors Little Bird for $175 about 2 years ago. Handles everything from .22LR to 5.7x28. Haven't shot it yet, but it's really serviceable as you can add or subtract baffles and place them where you want them inside.

I got a sparrow first and liked it well enough. Definitely first round pop. Found someone to buy it and got a rugged oculus. No first round pop, really quiet. Shot a local PDs DA mask on a 10/22 and it sounded great. I usually shoot a 3 inch pistol so it's louder than the rifle and I can't compare, but they're on par. I'd say for an extra 100-150 bucks, get something really good. I do not regret upgrading to the oculus.

Solid 1st hand knowledge, thank yall for sharing. Right now I am leaning towards Diligent Road Hunter or Rugged Mustang, but haven't decided for sure yet. Mask is solid kit as far as I can tell, but not sure it is worth the extra scratch over the other 2 🤔 Thanks again for your input.
