Looking for recommendations for a .243 100 grain hunting bullet.
I've always believed that a relatively light bullet needed to have high weight retention, so I have in the past shot Partitions, which perform well.
I'd like to find a 100gr bullet that retains weight, but has better BC and accuracy than Partitions.
Would like feedback on Barnes and Scirocco, or others.
I'm not interested in lighter weight bullets, or bullets not known for retention(Nosler BT).

Thanks Fellas.

I have shot 2 with the Barnes bullets..I have better luck with the 100 grain Sierra game kings. DRT with more internal trauma. The Barnes did the job fine but both went 60 plus yards with little blood at first.

My Daughter's Remington 770 loves the Sierra 100 grain Pro Hunter with 41.5 grains for IMR 4350. It's the most accurate load I've shot in the rifle. We both killed hogs last year with that set up. They weren't DRT but they both dropped it their tracks and passed quickly. No tracking required which is nice when your hunting at night in February. Tripod set up..jpg
