3 phase wiring help needed

I have a few motors with the wiring diagrams on them for the different voltages but it will be a couple days before I can get to them to take a pic .

Usually they are able to use 220 or 480
Depending on which wires are tied together .
The wire numbers are universal
But if you’re wires don’t have numbers on them , that’s gonna be a problem
Correct, identifying the coils and interconnections i.e. leads brought out is key. It is not inherently difficult, but very unforgiving of any incapacity or neglect.
 
The motor has been removed from the mill and is at the rebuilders shop. They will identify all the leads, replace the terminal block and wire it to 220v. Gonna cost around $300, but a lot better than getting electrocuted of frying the motor...
Unless that motor is "inverter rated", the most likely way you will fry that motor is to run it for long period at a low speed. Running it at or near full speed is best as the cooling fan should deliver the correct amount of cooling.
