30-30 drt loads

I like to practice/ shoot for fun quite a bit with my hunting loads, and I use the 30-30 as my utility/ pest control/ plinker with plated bullets. The 500 may last 2 years. I like to load in bulk for consistency and to keep sights true.I am finishing up 600 flex tip projectiles and they give very little more in accuracy for me than flat points since open sights are the only way I shoot lever guns. I appreciate the feed back. It looks like 170's are the winner. Hopefully RL-15 has become available again.

I understand now why you plan to load so many. 500 would probably last me a lifetime, since I only use that gun for deer hunting.

RL-15 comes and goes pretty regularly lately at midsouth and midway. I picked some up in the last month or so. Check during the day whenever you can, it seems to be quite popular and goes fast. Good luck on the hunt!
